Kirigami 3D Snowflake

Thought I’d do a tutorial on how to make a Christmas Star (it’s somewhat of a misnomer, since it’s appropriate for any occasion, I think!). It’s a very simple and fun project, especially with kids. Makes a great gift, too! Hang them on strings to make tree ornaments, or use oak-tag paper to make a sturdy tree-topper. I recycled old magazines.

HINT: You can make 6 of them, instead of 5 for a 6-pointed star! ENJOY! 😀

  1. Jenny, You are one very talented artist. I have been ill for quite some time, and unable to move due to a broken back. Before my surgery, I took a great deal of pleasure in papercrafting. Thank you for inspiring me to begin again.
