Origami Pen Holder/Sleeve

Learn how to make an origami pen or pencil holder with this easy to follow, step-by-step, narrated tutorial. This quick paper craft is perfect for kids going back to school this fall. They can be used to group and organize markers, pens, color pencils, and more. All you’ll need is a square sheet of paper and some adhesive (I used washi tape, but glue will work too). For my paper selection, I used a 6″ x 6″ (15 cm x 15 cm) blue sheet of chiyogami origami paper because of its beautiful bright floral patterns, variety of colors, and high quality for folding. The finished pen holder holds 2-3 gel pens perfectly. Make a few to brighten up a home or work office, or even gift wrap pens for friends and family! Once you get the hang of it, this arts and crafts project will take less than 5 minutes to complete!
