Origami Gift Box (ONE 1 Sheet of Paper!) – How to Make a Geometric Paper Gift Box Tutorial

This paper crafts tutorial will show you how to make a paper gift box, or origami box. This is a creative DIY idea to wrap presents with. The gift box collapses and expands, and is held together with ribbon or string. I tied a bow at the top of the paper gift box to seal it together.

The origami box requires 1 sheet of square paper. I used scrapbook paper, but you can use regular copy paper or origami paper. I would recommend using scrapbooking paper because it is strong and will hold the shape of the paper gift box better. I also used a bone folder to help me fold the creases for the origami box. Bone folders are especially helpful when working with larger sheets of paper, or paper that may be thicker than traditional origami paper.
