Napkin Folding Bishop Miter

I realize that most people associate the term “origami” with paper folding, but I tend to use this term more loosely than most. I mean, you can really fold anything: Paper, napkins, copper sheets…! Right? ๐Ÿ™‚ Lately, I’ve been experimenting with napkin folding as well and have created a whole series of napkin models for you to learn! Eventually, I’ll do some tutorials on towel folding, too, but that might not be for a while. There’s just not enough time in a day!

So yeah, back to the actual tutorial: Are you hosting a party or luncheon this summer? Forget those boring square napkins. Fold a Bishop Miter/Hat, instead! I’ve seen restaurants fold their napkins in the same way.

And after you’re done learning the Bishop Miter, might I suggest you check out the tutorial below, as well? My favorite napkin folding model is the “Bird of Paradise.” It looks like a stegosaurus, bird, and waterfall all at once. Very elegant. ๐Ÿ™‚
